Dr. Giulio Caruso received his Doctorate from Life Chiropractic College. He presently owns and operates Riverside Physical Medicine in Poughkeepsie NY. His facility is considered state of the art and he’s committed to providing first class care to his patients. He continues to be dedicated to helping every patient eliminate or reduce their pain. Dr. Caruso opened his first injury clinic in 1992 in Brooklyn NY. In 1995 he owned and operated one of the first Chiropractic/Physical Medicine multi-specialty practices. In 2002 he owned the first clinic in NJ to utilize the Non -Surgical Spinal Decompression. Non-surgical Spinal Decompression provides safe, gentle and effective relief for upwards of 90% of patients that qualify for care. Dr. Caruso developed and managed 11 multi discipline practices in NY and NJ. He has been an expert witness to hundreds of auto and work comp injuries cases. He is certified in MUA Manipulation Under Anesthesia, Electro-diagnosis EMG/NCV, Certified in acute care guidelines and disability outcomes, National College Physical Therapy certificate and completed over 200 hours of Xray analysis with Dr Russell Earhardt DACBR. He is a member of the IDEA International Disc Education Association and awarded a certificate from the National Disc Decompression Society. Dr. Caruso has received numerous awards that can be seen on this website.

Dr. Michael Younan received his B.S. Degree in Exercise Science and Sports from Rutgers University. He further continued his studies and focused on Chiropractic Care and Spinal Health, receiving his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College. Michael has direct, clinical experience assisting auto injury patients rehabilitate to pre auto accident status. He has experience with athletes in training rooms and competitive environments. In doing so, he has advanced his overall ability to improve patient recovery time, performance, and wellness. Michael is determined and focused on functional evaluation, treatments, and management leading to the development of individualized treatment plans. He has been formally trained in Gratson Technique, Kinesiotaping, and Active Release Technique(ART).Michael Younan DC was born in Cairo, Egypt where he learned to love the competitive sport of soccer. At an early age, he moved to the United States to eventually play the sport at the beginning of his college career. With a physical background, it was a natural transition into studying the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Younan is attentive to detail, after a thorough exam and history with the patient, an appropriate treatment plan will be formulated specifically to that patient and accommodates all of his/her needs.


Dr. Glenn Babus completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship at the world-renowned Houston Medical Center. Virtually all of the protocols for treating pain at Hermann and Methodist Hospitals were at the forefront of medical technology. Dr. Babus began performing early vertebroplasty procedures for compression fractures of the vertebrae common in osteoporosis, stabilizing the fractures and supporting the spine. He was one of the first pain specialists to offer Epiduroscopy treatment for back pain rooted in spinal nerve conditions. He was the first specialist in the New York metro area to perform a re-chargeable spinal cord simulator and a Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD) procedure. Dr. Babus has always worked with the most advanced imaging guidance techniques, both Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy, also called Real-Time X-ray guidance. He's used these systems in more than 50,000 cases, including residency, making him elite at the world-level.

Dr. Sanford Wert holds certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and strives to erase his patients’ pain. Born in New York City, Dr. Wert pursued a medical education at the University of Madrid and the University of Guadalajara. He completed an internship specializing in orthopedic surgery at the Beth Israel Medical Center and a residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Wert currently attends courses and meetings with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Procedures offered by Dr. Wert include arthroscopy for the shoulder, knee, and ankle, treatment for sports injuries, degenerative disease and evaluation for worker’s compensation.
